"Three years ago this June I walked out of jail with no education and hardly any cooking skills.
While being incarcerated I got a job working in the prison kitchen which helped change my life!
I always worked kitchen jobs such as washing dishes, prepping, or some line job but it was never a serious thing to me. Once I was released I got a line cooking job which paid 12 bucks an hour. Meanwhile, I was using IG and YouTube to teach my self how to cook! You see, I'm not professionally trained and I didn't make it past 10th grade, so everything I've learned over the last 3 years was from trial and error!
After working harder than ever, I made Executive Chef in a year and a half! So, here I am now Executive Chef, still very much new to cooking but so passionate that my work ethic was unparalleled! I ran my own kitchen for another year until I parted ways to venture on to my very own establishment (Full Belly Bistro)!
I never came from money. In fact, I was one of the poorest kids in my school. Not to mention, I struggled with drugs since the age of 15. Everything I've revived in life I've earned with good ole fashioned hard work. Outpacing others has always been the key to my success. I'm here to show you anything in life is possible. I'm living proof of it. If you want something bad enough, nothing can stop you. You just gotta work hard and dedicated yourself!!"
